I'm a Certified Labor/Birth Doula and Lactation Educator through CAPPA. I have also been trained as a Childbirth Educator, and a Postpartum Doula.

• 24/7 phone support during pregnancy and immediately postpartum

• An abundance of pregnancy & childbirth literature & knowledge

• Massage, movement, music, encouraging words through out labor
• Suggestions on laboring and birthing positions to minimize discomfort
• Continuous, uninterrupted support throughout labor, birth and immediate postpartum
• A detailed personal Birth Story
• Newborn and family photos
• One postpartum follow up appointment to go over the details of your beautiful birth!

Dads :

     I do not take the place of the partner. I will encourage you to be part of this beautiful birth process. If the partner/father is unable to attend due to travel or other unseen reasons, please rest at ease that your loved one will be in the best hands possible. I will be providing the laboring woman all the support possible and promise to keep you informed of her progress.

Birth Doula Fee $850.00

Mothering the new Mother

      As a Certified Postpartum Doula I offer non judgmental , nurturing, mental, physical  and educational support for you and your family during the transition into parenthood.I encourage and help promote a loving bonding experience between the parents and new baby(s). I respect and acknowledge all rituals, cultures and encourage parents to continue these practices with their new baby.

 I come to your home to care for you immediately after you return home after a hospital birth, or the day of or after your home birth.

 I work with preemies, singletons(one baby) and twins.

• Physical & Mental support of mom postpartum
• Encourage & show dad & family ways to help out with newborn
  
• Mothers nutrition (including light meal preparation and grocery shopping)
• Breastfeeding  (including durations, positions, pumping & storage of breast milk)
• Bonding (wraps, slings, kangaroo holds, etc)
  
• Diapering
• Bathing for newborns
  
• Soothing Techniques ( including swaddling)
• Umbilical Cord care
• Help with the organization of the nursery
• Assisting siblings as they learn about the new baby.
• Laundry 
• Resource information for mental care, Lactation Consultants and long term help
