These are not your typical childbirth classes!

I teach these natural childbirth classes with the heart and the passion I have for natural childbirth.

I truly believe you can achieve a natural childbirth if you let your body and mind lead you.

You and your partner will leave these classes feeling inspired, empowered and most of all educated.

Educated decisions in your birth process, are perfect decisions :) 

You and your partner will learn:

• Anatomy of the pregnant mother
• Nutrition and exercise during pregnancy
• Preparing yourself emotionally and physically for birth
• Understanding your own needs for labor support
• How your partner can support you during labor,birth and postpartum
• How to recognize if your in true labor
• The Stages of Labor and Birth
• Labor positions
• Birthing/Pushing positions
• Relaxation techniques and comfort measures
• Interventions such as inductions & augmented labor 
• Medications used during the birth process
• Medical procedures regarding to the birth
• What to expect immediately after birth
• Cesarean section procedure and recovery
• Warning signs of preterm labor and other complications
• Medical terminology 
• Immunizations
• Your rights as a patient
• Hospital policies and procedures
• Together we will help you to prepare your own birth plan.

Group Classes

   Group classes are wonderful for first time parents.  Group classes allow you to ask more questions, as others may spark some interesting points/questions that you may not have thought of. It also allows for you to build relationships with other expecting parents.

These classes are 6 weeks long.

Meeting weekly.

Private classes

   Private classes are wonderful for couples who have a limited amount of time in their schedule and need me to work around their schedules. You will learn everything that you would in the group classes, but privately.

   Classes are taught in the comfort of your home or mine.
